10 Minutes a Day

My son Tyler suggested I write an EBook for our guests on Easter. It was easy to decide what to write on since there is a new practice in my life that highlights every day. Since the beginning of 2017 I have carved out 10 minutes everyday to devote myself to prayer. I wondered if it would turn into a New Years Resolution and fall by the wayside. But after 4 months I am still enjoying it as much as I did when I first started. I asked the church to consider praying 10 minutes a day for the month of January to lift up our ministry at New Harvest. Many people did so and a few kept going on February 1st. Maybe you are one of those who is benefiting from a daily connection with the Lord through prayer.

This is not as simple as it might seem so I wrote a book on it. The book is only 8 pages long but it does explain very clearly how to practice this principle of daily prayer. I think this approach is so powerful because it is doable. I give you several ideas on how to enhance the time and build in variety. Conversation with God should be incredibly meaningful and even life-changing. I am convinced that this is possible and my brief presentation will help you immensely. Your life can change and it may only take 10 minutes a day.

Go to our web-site (www.newharvestch.org) and pause the banner on the front page highlighting the book. You will see where to click on the banner so you are able to download the EBook. Let me know what you think. I may want to write more on this simple yet significant practice of prayer. God bless!
