Food Bank
New Harvest Church hosts a food bank the third Saturday of every month. If you need food, please come between 9 & 11am. You will need the names and dates of birth of each person 18 years of age and older and your address. Plan to arrive early as people start lining up as early as 7:30am.
Serving Saturday – Walk For Hope
We are excited to be the main church supplying volunteers for the Walk-a-thon that raises money for the Union Gospel Mission. There are many volunteer positions necessary & sign-up begins Sunday, May 27th. You will have three Sundays to sign-up and then we need to give our list of volunteers to the head coordinator. Laurie Miller will serve as our contact person. Last year we had 30 volunteers from our church alone. Please mark out that day & start signing up next Sunday. The event will conclude by noon on Saturday, June 23rd. A training meeting is scheduled at our church on Tuesday, June 19th at 6:30pm in the Coffee Shop.
Service @ the Fair
Sunday, July 15 @ 10am
This will be the 7th year we have been invited to have our Sunday Service at the Marion County Fair. Entry is free with a ticket that will be available at the church for two weeks before that date.
Creation
Creation Northwest! July 18th 21st. This Festivals brings the most prominent Christian music artists together for a huge festival (think 50,000 Christians worshipping together) in Washington state. We want to take your kids.
This is an ambitious undertaking as the trip is fast approaching and the cost is fairly high. The tickets are $107 a piece. We are going to have some fund raising opportunities coming up in the next couple months but we are asking those folks who want to go to commit to being part of the trip by signing up and making a $30 deposit by the end of MAY.
We realize this is a big decision so please bring this before God in prayer and consider what you can do to help. We can use anything from food, camping equipment, money, drivers, extra vehicles, to extra adults making the trip safer for our students. Service in the Park
Sunday, August 12th @ 10am
This will be our third year having a service and picnic at the Keizer Rapids Amphitheatre. There will be music, message, , baptisms, & a picnic afterwards.
