Our Hope Is In The Lord!
“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end. They are
new every morning; Great is your faithful-
ness. The LORD is my portion, says my
Soul. Therefore I will hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
Our theme for Women’s Ministries this year expresses the same simple truth, our hope is in Him. When dreams and expectations fail, our faith in another is shattered, or we experience painful loss, at the end of the longest, hardest day, we can still have hope because of Jesus.
Psalm 62:5 says, “Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.” My prayer for each of us is that, in times of greatest need, we remember— our hope is in Him.
